Not long to go ...
Here's a beautiful felted web - an example of those submitted to us by Torrens Primary School students. We have also received some beautiful handspun wool webs from the Gumeracha Spinners and Weavers and over 140 webs from a group of women from the Lobethal Retirement Village!! Not long now - we're getting excited!

Lots of communal creativity at the Lobethal Produce Share last week as members had a go at making 'organic webs' using wool and willow and woolly pom poms for the 'Community web' yarnbomb. Fun had by all!
This week - Coffee and Crochet, 2.00pm - 4.00pm at the Pear tree and Partridge Cafe.
Even the blokes got involved! |

Thanks lovely ladies at SO TACKI in the main street of Lobethal for agreeing to be a collection point for completed items for the yarn bomb.
There will also be a collection point in the Lobethal Markets for weekends.
Another example of our local businesses supporting our local projects - remember to support our local businesses when you can!

Calling all crochet folk...
We are dressing up our Old Woollen Mill in Lobethal for SALA (South Australlian Living Artists festival) in August 2013. The plan is to yarn bomb Mill Square, the lawn area in front of the Mill.
Woollen webs will be hung around the lawns to symbolise community connections - to the heritage of the Woollen Mill and to each other. Why not connect with your community through crochet - make a web (or two or three)!
Additional Fibre Artists to create unique webs also encouraged to participate.
